The following are the rules to be followed to create a multiple subject area OTBI analysis:
1. make sure all the folders/dimensions are available in all the subject areas to be joined.
in case of unrelated dimensions, apply the “Dimensionality” hint on the OTBI analysis.
Goto Advanced tab > Advanced SQL Clauses > DIMENSIONALITY (show total value for all measures on unrelated dimensions.
2. at least one measure column from each subject area to be included in the analysis.
Regardless of whether it is required to be shown in the analysis or not. If you do not require this measure, hide the column.
